Vail Laughs

Vail Laughs is based on one simple idea:

Clean comedy for a good price.
Entertainment standards have definitely shifted over the years. As the world keeps moving faster, it takes more energy to get our attention in the noise. Unfortunately, much of our entertainment uses shock value and other cheap antics to get it. It’s almost a celebration of being rude and insulting, bringing the audience down right along with the entertainers.
But life is funny enough without having to be vulgar!
Think about this:

We drive to the gym so we can walk on a treadmill. We carry these high tech devices in our pockets, the knowledge of all the world at our fingertips and we use them to send each other videos of screaming goats. Or the irony of reaching adulthood and discovering our parents actually had a point about naps.

What a strange bunch of creatures we are!

Our award winning comedians are as committed to this ideal as we are, bringing you quality entertainment month after month and leaving behind all the vulgarity and cheap antics.  Quite simply, it’s high quality entertainment you can bring your entire family to. The most important decision you have for the evening is whether to leave the kids or the babysitter at home.

Jason Love has appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, America’s Got Talent, and over 20 national TV broadcasts.  Jason works clean and incorporates music, making him a go-to choice for family comedy. Says L.A. Weekly: “Jason Love is comedy that brings people together.” From the Hollywood Improv to Carolines on Broadway to the Comic Strip in Edmonton, Jason’s audience continues to grow. He has performed overseas for the troops and on the seas for cruise lines.  Jason was a finalist at the Cabo Comedy Festival and at the World Series of Comedy in Vegas. Jason syndicates his cartoon Snapshots to millions in print, Internet, and mobile media. His one-liners are published by Readers Digest. You are going to love Jason!

Roxy Merrari is a Los Angeles native currently residing In Tucson, AZ.  A lifelong comedy fan, she stood up at her first open mic at Laffs Comedy Café in January 2015 and like so many others, was instantly hooked.  Roxy has also bridged the gap between her comedy and philanthropy work, producing  multiple comedy benefits for local 501(c)(3) organizations doing exceptional work for the community. Roxy enjoys producing as much as writing & performing; her distinctive and infectious laugh always fills the room during her shows. She loves to hear the audience laughing with her, but also enjoys the groans she elicits. She is one of the comics you’ll laugh as hard with off stage as on.

John Nolander began acting in community theater at the age of 9.  He has pursued his interest in ventriloquism, puppetry, and theatrical magic ever since.  With a focus on creating distinctive characters, John and his puppets present clean comic mayhem. Along with audience favorite Crash The Buzzard, John scrambles to navigate the irreverent bird’s mockery, antics and misbehavior as he attempts a variety of magic tricks. This duo of disaster have joined their pals in variety shows at such places as Tucson’s Gaslight Theater, Temple of Music and Art, and Tucson Stars of Magic.
