Vail Laughs

Vail Laughs is based on one simple idea:

Clean comedy for a good price.
Entertainment standards have definitely shifted over the years. As the world keeps moving faster, it takes more energy to get our attention in the noise. Unfortunately, much of our entertainment uses shock value and other cheap antics to get it. It’s almost a celebration of being rude and insulting, bringing the audience down right along with the entertainers.
But life is funny enough without having to be vulgar!
Think about this:

We drive to the gym so we can walk on a treadmill. We carry these high tech devices in our pockets, the knowledge of all the world at our fingertips and we use them to send each other videos of screaming goats. Or the irony of reaching adulthood and discovering our parents actually had a point about naps.

What a strange bunch of creatures we are!

Our award winning comedians are as committed to this ideal as we are, bringing you quality entertainment month after month and leaving behind all the vulgarity and cheap antics.  Quite simply, it’s high quality entertainment you can bring your entire family to. The most important decision you have for the evening is whether to leave the kids or the babysitter at home.

Andrew Scott is local to Tucson, but works all over the world and probably has more international gigs under his belt than Leno or Seinfeld. I’d like to think that he’s just as funny; just not as famous. This comic is contingent on not being called up to serve as a contractor in Iraq. He’s awaiting an assignment, and if he hasn’t left by showtime— he’s ours!

Eddie Whitehead Jr. originates from Chicago but now lives in Tucson Arizona. He spent the last 12 years in Los Angeles and there isn’t a comedy club in southern California that hasn’t had him perform. He is equally comfortable with church crowds and was booked constantly to entertain in houses of worship. Eddie is now enjoying the life out of Hollywood with new neighbors and turning them into friends with with fun and laughter. He has a remarkable resemblance to Samuel Jackson and could work as his stunt double—- but comedy is much easier on the body!

Isaac (a.k.a. Doc) Farm was born and raised in the rural town of Nahunta Ga, right next to Okefenokee swamp (alligators and all). Always the class clown in school he would later hone his talents and wit during his stint in the Air Force where he was introduced to the comedy stage. He has not left. Known as an entertainer for his diverse background and skills, he delivers a show filled with dancing, singing, and all out laughter. As a comedian he was crowned the Funniest Man in Phoenix which led to a trip to Comic Relief. He has appeared at the world famous Apollo as well as a reoccurring appearance on Don’t Forget the Lyrics. He travels across the country performing at schools, churches, and comedy clubs delivering the best medicine to fans looking for that something to brighten the day.

Dan Meyer is a unique performance artist who specializes in the extremely dangerous and very narrow field of Sword Swallowing!  After growing up as a scared, shy skinny kid teased and bullied by the bullies in Indiana, Dan Meyer vowed he would someday do the impossible and find meaning in his purpose and calling in life.  After working in the music business in Nashville, London, and Stockholm, Meyer shifted his focus from music to variety entertainer as clown, juggler, stilt-walker, fire-eater, glass-eater, and finally the most dangerous of all performance arts: Sword Swallower.  Meyer quickly became recognized as the world’s leading expert in the 4000 year old art.  A 7-time Guinness World Record holder, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and Top 50 Finalist on America’s Got Talent, Meyer is in demand as the world’s top performing sword swallower for his live comedy performances, high profile stunts,  and media appearances – seen by over 750 million viewers in over 40 countries around the world.

Dom Di Tolla is a comic who melds his observations on society, working in a Finance department as a 9-5 job, family stories and his overall love of sports into a his standup routine. Currently, Dom performs regularly in Tucson as well as throughout the rest of the Southwestern United States.

Comedian Reign is an Arizona native. Besides being very Hott, she’s a mother of 7, an elementary school teacher, a wife, petty, sarcastic, and has tourettes. One of comedy’s biggest fans, will blow you away!

Monté Benjamin is one of the finest local comedians we’ve ever worked with and we are beyond excited he’s coming to host this set of comedians. Originally hailing from Miami, FL, he now calls Tucson home after his 20+ years of doing stand up all over the country.
